I abandoned this several months ago. The source code is listed on the page if anyone wants it. (The RealFeel engine source code is on the RealFeel page as well). BleakBox was nearly complete before my partner left me and I decided to end it (he never actually worked on it anyway). Initially theorize...

Rather than having:
Code: If frmMirage.WindowState = 0 Then
Why not have:
Code: If frmMirage.WindowState <> 1 Then
Because otherwise the loop will be bypassed if the form is maximized (windowstate = 2).
Or am I wrong? |

I've missed you Asrrin, although I'm sure you don't remember me from the few times we talked. I'm glad to see that you found that special someone.

I'd like to give it a try. If I don't finish on time, do you want me to just release what I have?

It may be (I'm not that knowledgable). Try the quick "comment-everything-out" to see if that is the problem (comment all references to DX7).

From my experience (which isn't much in converting), if you have any instance of DX7's DirectDraw, DirectX8's Direct3D doesn't function right. At least if D3D and Draw are set to the same object. This may not help at all, but it's what I've experienced. I have a few successful conversions of Mirage ...

I must say that this is a splendid engine. I would give it top marks in quality application software if my character wasn't disconnected when accessing anything above mapping while having owner permissions.

This is getting offtopic, but you mean that those files are in the source folder, but not in the actual VB6 project? I know catalyst was a useless speed modification. Why the TCP module is not included, I don't know (I've never used 3.03 and 3.07). But you don't need to really worry about them. If t...

It doesn't really matter. Pick whichever one you want. I'd keep it in TCP as that's just where I picture it being used. I think in MSE 1 & 2, it's in the Globals.bas, but I've never used 3.03 or 3.07, so I don't think it has that module. Pick whichever module you want as long as you remember whe...

This usually means something is declared more than once. Check to see if sep_char isn't defined anywhere else besides where you found it.

Make sure that the constant is defined and you've placed this inside the PlayerRec type block in the types.bas
Also, recheck the steps to see if you skipped one. |

Difficulty: (I have no clue) This is my own method of doing the following. I've checked and haven't found a tutorial already on this, so I'm posting my way, whether it is the most efficient or not. If the moderators of this community wish to remove this tutorial on the premises that there is already...
