Right now I'm just using the js socket object directly. I suck at js, so i'm just 'hacking' that all together so it works, lol.
The actual server is a console app and separated from asp.net.
The maps are also proceduraly generated right now, fun stuff. |

I found a websocket server to work off of. https://github.com/statianzo/Fleck
The websocket implementation was easy to hook into. If you're interested in code, just send me a message. |

I've started work on a JS/Websocket game with a c# server. I put up a proof of concept here: http://www.buttercog.com Currently only working in chrome because it's a very very early prototype. If you can't move with the arrow keys, enter a chat message and hit enter. A small bug that is fixed in my ... |

Whoever wrote this just made EVERYTHING public static, this is absolutely horrible coding practice. I can guess most of the people that would use it don't care about OOP and other more advanced techniques, but jesus this code is bad. It can always be fixed. It's a good base, though. The structs can... |

This tutorial is a form that will allow a Yes/No or Okay button to be displayed and allow the game to continue processing while waiting on a response. I would like to thank Robin for the base form that I used to create this. This works by passing in the memory address of a sub or function to run whe... |

What should we do with this site and forums? I tried reviving interest when I first took over. Obviously that failed. I don't have the time or energy to try to do anything else, but I'm willing to let others take the reigns and try to make the site awesome again. Please discuss. If you have question... |

The server will only load the character you select. - Fixed PlayerMapDropItem error with stacked items. Thanks ... |
