| Hey, i'm starting off with a fair amount of programming experience [Turing] but not too much in VB but a working understanding. I'm just wondering which engine you guys would recommend for me to use. I'm going to assume the newest Mirage Source but i'm just prodding the community for potential hints... |

| Thanks for the advice. You've convinced me to pick up a source and investigate. My biggest worry is that i won't understandthe networking code that goes on because i never learned about that stuff just a general knowledge. |

| Does anybody know of an engine that has spells that change your sprite? Or something to that effect? Edit: I know there are engines that have tile attributes where you can change the sprite but that's not exactly what i'm looking for. I'm looking to make a game where you can cloak/shapeshift with sp... |
