When I run my server on my VPS, be it my game server or a vanilla MS4, and I login on a non-admin character, after walking for a few seconds, I get booted for packet flooding. Nothing else causes it, only walking. It also only happens if I have the server on the VPS. Any idea what could be causing this? |

I increased my packet limitations to 50 Can't you trace the packets back to see what they are? |

Got it fixed. I really suggest everyone convert away from GetTickCount. |

I tried it, because I couldn't find Verrigan's. However, it didn't work. Same problem as GetTickCount. Dugor linked me to Verrigan's version, which I had in the OLD MS303 version of FPO a year or two ago. It's always worked for me. If you do the tutorial right, you just gotta replace GetTickCount with GetTickCountNew and any variable defined to be a timer, needs to be a currency, not a long. |
