Well like everyone else here I'm trying to get my game going. And also like most people my players have magical abilities. But 'Magic' seems boring and overused, do you guys have any cool names in place of it? Like Mana or something

Well first, what theme are you planning for your game..That would help us know what type of word you're looking.. :wink:

Although, a word i just thought of on the spot was Ability.. I dont know.. It doesnt really sound right. But yeah, players have abilities.. You could also add in an element.. Like fire abilties.. Or something.. Haha.. I dont know.. I hope you can think of something better.. Hahaha.. :wink: Good luck mate..

Are you talking about the stat Magic? or the MP?

Magic - Wisdom, Intelligence, Knowledge, Ability etc...
MP - Mana, Magic, Spell Ability, Power

Well those arn't that nice.. I know.

don't know truly. Just make something up lol. oh and shard and ruin I got that because you can learn the spells from shards and ruins in mirage or basically anything lol. :D

If you're going for Greek mythology, perhaps instead of magical abilities you could be blessed with godly powers.

So doing certain quests will allow you to 'get in touch' with the gods at shrines or something and you manage to gain a certain ability.

Also, you could possibly add in godly weapons.

so like... a thunder sword of zues or something.
