What does the sub DoEvents do? I looked throughout the source, but I don't see it declared anywhere |

It's a built in VB function that passes control to Windows to handle any pending events. |

An event is like when you push a button or a timer triggers. Timer1_Timer() is an example. PushButton_Click(whatever) is an event. If you're in a tight loop, it will seem like windows, or your program froze. DoEvents allows all the events that are waiting to be executed, but in turn it takes time. |

So, DoEvents sort of allows the line of events to go 'through the ride'? Meaning that they are waiting in line and DoEvents goes and allows one event at a time, and when one event is done, it moves onward. And DoEvents is more useful for unclogging an application that is bogged down by the line of events? |

DoEvents lets all events through, not just one. Your application stops until they're done. |

Is it all the events in the program, or just inside the specific region? |
