I am making a list of different words and names to use to describe items in my game, and Was wondering if anyone would like to contribute. Everything I am using will be for futuristic weapons and armor. I plan on making up thing like manafacturer and model, so instead of just saying "blaster" it would be called "BHG210 Blaster" and so on. so I don't so much need things like that, but here is a list of words I have already come up with: SPOILER: (click to show)

I'm dividing things up into two sections. Descriptors and names. descriptors would be the adjective of the item, such as assault, or powered, or battered. names would be what the object is, such as a coat, or rifle, or knife. as you can see, I have a majority of these words already thought up. I don't plan on using the word laser though, it's a bit of a misnomer, and doesn't fit in with my themes anyways. but good job on thinking of barrier, I'm a little short on words to call items that fit in the shield slot. |

Armor Descriptions: Terra Utility Refract Shard Silk Thermal Biological Bionic Synthetic Ranged Weapon Descriptions: Stun Sonic Rail Spray Flamethrower (Heat)Seeker Double-Barrel Silencer Dilatory Gaus Slumber Air(rifle,gun) Blade Weapon Descriptions: Vibroblade(google it) Poisoned Serrated Barbed Hooked Curved Double-Ended Lethal(breaks off when used, lodges in for massive bleeding) Shields in General: Police Shield(Not sure the actual name of it) Distortion Barrier/Shield(Distorts the wielders image when behind it, harder to shoot) Replica Shield(displays a replicate image of the wielder at a different location) Static Barrier(blocks sonic attacks) Electric or Energy Field(disrupts any electric or energy attacks) Synthetic Shield Hover Shield (floats in front of user) Comments: Btw I love the idea of having certain manufacturers in the name of the items. |

Manufacturer's will most likely be in descriptions, but model numbers will be based on manafactuers. like the CTI1500 Chainsword, manufactured by Chaintech Industries. Each manufacturer was a specialty, like munitions, personal safety, transportation, etc. |
