Which MS Version should I use? MS 3.03 MS 3.07 or MSE MS 3.03 looks very easier to start from. MS 3.07 has MySQL which I don't know much about. MSE has that rule, where did I read it? and any recommended VB6 tutorials? That could cover winsock, packets, and dx? Please and thank you. :: Pando |

Currently, MSE is the only version supported on these forums. MOST tutorials and code given will work for 303, though not all. There aren't any major differences between MSE and 303, mostly organizational things. A place for DirectX 7 tutorials is directx4vb.vbgamer.com, but it doesn't apply to MS all to well... Just google around, you'll find what you need. We're here to help aswell. The packets for MirageSource are done unlike any other thing in the world (apparently) and it sucks. You wont be able to find an example elsewhere that handles packets the same was as Mirage Source, so you just need to learn from the source itself. It's not too hard. We're here to help aswell. Welcome to MS, Dave ~ |

Thanks for the support, mate. I'll just explore the sources a little bit more to see what comes clean to me. :: Pando |

Use MSE or I suggest you find another orpg source. |

I would suggest 3.0.7 if you know what you are doing. |
