I think you read into that a bit much Verrigan xD I wasn't trying to bite his head off or anything... if it seems that way I apologise. Just explaining that I highly doubt that anyone here uses the pet code from Elysium because the coding is so warped and twisted >< |

lol I know that, but since the sources are so similar shouldnt the pet subs? If im wrong tell me but there is not ALOT of different between any of the edited konfuze sources dont get me wrong |

Well, this isn't an edited Konfuze source. This is what Konfuze is based off. Konfuze is just a highly edited Mirage Source. =3 |

Mirage isn't built off anything. It was made from scratch. Konfuze was made many years later, when Mirage Source was released, and eventually Elysium was built on Konfuze source. So pets were added years after this source was released. |

I'd strongly suggest not using the Elysium pet code. If there're any parts of ES usable, the pet code DEFINATLY isn't one of them. |

Okay.. Let's assume you understand the way commands work on MS/Elysium... And you have a command in place called /healpet <name> (in case you are able to have multiple pets..) You could have that command do something like: Code: Public Sub HealPet(Index As Long, PetName As String)
Dim i As Long For i = 1 To MAX_PETS ' Just a guess here... whatever variable you're using.. If Player(Index).Pet(i).Name = PetName Then Exit For Next If i > MAX_PETS Then PlayerMsg(Index, "I could not find a pet belonging to you with that name.") ' I don't know the actual subroutine for this, nor do I know the required arguments.. Exit Sub End If Player(Index).Pet(i).HP = Player(Index).Pet(i).HP + 10 ' Replace 10 with whatever value you want to increase a pets health.. or a variable.. PlayerMsg(Index, "Your pet named " & Player(Index).Pet(i).Name & " has been healed for 10 points of health. (Yay you!)") End Sub Now.. Obviously I haven't seen your pet code.. I haven't even opened up the server to make sure I get all the subroutines right.. Take that code, and use it as an example to create your own method for healing your pet(s).. It should be a fairly simple process. |

OMG! THANK YOU!!! dont have any idea if it works but it is better then being questioned about it or someone just saying something random that dosen't help, even if it dosent work your goin into my games credits for effort... |
