hello everyone its just all of your guys annoying little freind askign if you got a script that makes it so the people allready have the magic and that when i make a new spell it adds to it.


when player lvs magi or normal lv he can use spell

when player able to use spell spell higlights or turns from a dark color to a lighter color so you can tell the diffrence.


also when you use spell allow constant spell use meanign click once atk and it gets used over and over till the player or npc is dead.

also for magic make it so the magic scrolls across the screen liek what elysium does with arrows. but with spells.

ability to have add area affect with click to a combo box on the spel editor.

abilty to set spell requlifications like str def magi so on.

ability to use ether or old spell style the one that comes from the tile or the new scrolling spell(the one like the arrows do on elysium lol :)

Thanx to anyone that adds this to the tuts but i hope william could add this since his tuts are perfect to a better standing point. but everyone else has a good ability to just william knows mirage better than anyone exept shannara. hope and hugs to all i need drug lol j/k.


oh and to have visual icons for magic dont want to forget that lol :oops: .

Yes, William know's Mirage Better than anyone except Shannara because HE'S Been here longer than ALL of us, and he's the new owner of Mirage Source site and MSE Build 1.

Not to mention, they're also "to a better standing point" (whatever that means), and let's not forget that they're perfect becuase William's never made an error.

He was just trying to point out how stupid and ignorant he is trying to be, while doing a HORRIBLE job at sucking up. I didn't even see that the first time I glanced at it because I stopped reading after the first couple of shitty sentences.

ok then well ill try to make it more clear for you all.
well here it goes.
In the game

You make it so the player can make a spell that is automatically in their spell list. the player can then use the spell if he has a high enough lv of some sort. the player then clicks on the icon of the spell. the spell then activates and you can use it bye pressing crtl or clicking on the person or npc to Attack. which then you can attack constantly untill the target is dead or untill you are dead.


In the editor

Know in the editor you can chose from the regular way of animating the spell which is useing a block to atk an not showing the spell head for the person or you can use a spell that is animated to shot across the screen at the person. you can also use area effect on the spells but it will only work for the old tile spell animation.


The new animation stuff and what they do.
When you shot the spell the spell will shot across the screen ,but you have to use a click or crtl to make it work. For the tile spells you can use click ,crtl, or to target and push the use spell button in the spell list.
and for area spell effects. when you use them the spell creates a area of animated tile spells around you.if youve ever used elysium you should know what im talkign about.. but the sq tile atk can hit multiple enemys in the range of the spell.

Constant spell use.

This is where in the spell editor you can chose the speed at which the spell can be used at. meanign the lower the number the more times you can use the spell in a limited amount of time. the higher the less spells you can use in an amaont of time. this will work with the constant effect of the spell which allows you to use the spell over and over agian with out haveing to click or push a button all the time. this will work only with the scrolling spells.

I think that is much better than before and umm im not sucking up to anyone thats not my thing so keep your thoughts to yourself.

What did you have problems with when you attempted to add this yourself?

lets just say everything . i tried to use the same ideal and tried to change the code for the arrow thng from elysium and add it that didnt work out to well becuase i didnt know where to add somethigns since its diffrent lol.
then I tryed to make the tile effect thing well it worked then it kind of keep going and froze my computer. so I never go to save it.
I didnt try the click or crlt button ideal i just added that becuase i thought of it at that very moment. I did not try the constant atk ideal ether thats a new one i added.


so does that giev you an ideal. i can go thou and get the code from the elysium source agian if needed. if someone would help me at least. i just need help doing it not a full tut on how to do itunless you wanna cover it for other people in the past.

Don't type like you are 4 years old, or you will be treated like you are 4 years old. Type so others can understand you and spell check your damn posts. Make sure you tried everything you can think of before asking a question. If you haven't noticed, you haven't been getting much help. That is because people realize you are simply asking for others to do your work, and not trying yourself. You come off to me as very ignorant and expecting others to baby you.
If you can't take the time to help others read and understand your posts and questions, why should they spend the time to decode your message? I think you are young, but that is NO excuse.

I may come off as an asshole, which I am, but it needs to be said(Although already has). Hopefully you will change, if not you will continue to receive little help. I am sorry to others for continuing to flame, but this is ridiculous


Now onto your problem. HOW would changing the error code thing from elysium help in adding spells to every newly created character and determining when they go to cast a spell whether they are allowed to cast it or not based on their level? I'll answer that myself. It doesn't help at all and hardly relates at all to your first problem. If you notice, the quote where I asked what you tried only involved that, not the things further in your post, I didn't want to waste my time reading it. You need to work on features one at a time. Not all at once.


Now I feel a little better.

I like you alot. becuase you tell the truth which trully does not hurt me.
well all i really wanted was for someone to help start me off by given me a new basic understanding of spells and how elysium completly does them and how i can use that to my advantage,but if you really want to try to flame someone i would try pando since at least you could hurt his feelings. poor pando.


To tell the truth i still dont have anythign to use to spell cheak with lol and if i at least had a search bar that had the capability i would use it only for a chrismas present for you.

And by the way if you dont want to read the rest of it. i think your smart to relise its just there for a joke. lol. :lol:

Make two new spell types. PlacePortal and WarpToPortal. Add a variable to the player rec so they have a portal that can be "theirs" .

Keep track of all the portals in the game somewhere in the server.

Make it so when placePortal is casted, it deletes any portals the player currently has, and creates a new one.

Make it so when WarpToPortal is casted, it warps the player to the portal location.
