SoM as other people know it as was orginally a PW as spoon said. He then made it into a Miragesource. Im not sure but he actully made those tiles himself right? and they were stolen and used on other games. i think he was one of the first to encrypt his graphics in a unseen folder becuase ive never found the new ones ^^ Magiknights is an awsome game i used to Map and Develop NPC's on it with Master Magik so play that ^^ the community rocks |

SoM's gfx are IN the client. They are read from picture boxes client side. |

takes the same ammount of ram (plus or minus a couple bytes, maybe)... but it increases the EXE size by the size of the picture. |

So you are saying loading 10000 picture boxes into your exe will use the same amount of RAM? Yeah, controls are invisible, both to the user and to memory. And I was not just refering to that - but also the fact that you leave all graphic files loaded into memory. In fact, I dont get it, but every engine like these like to leave all their graphic files in memory at all times. |

Renegade, most of the tiles from som(atleast the first ones used, they might have some custom ones now, but the old ones are still there) are ripped from Siekien Dusten 3(SD3) or however its spelled. I think there might be another name for it too. |
